The Eternal Within Us

Eternity dwells within time,
It touches us in the passing of a moment.
Knowing the eternal,
We see more of this time we are in.

Eternity dwells within us,
Within each person.
Seeing the eternal in us,
Releases us to see more of who we are.

Eternity dwells within stuff,
It possesses all we have.
Holding what we have,
It shows us we have more than we could know.

Eternity dwells within itself,
It is past, present and future.
Parting from this eternal moment,
We pass into another moment where we and others are.

Eternity dwells within us,
Within you,
Seeing the eternal in us,
Releases us to see more of who we are.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God. And the Word was God.
